Main Window

Showing and Closing the Main Window

To show the main window

If the program is running in the Windows taskbar, double-click the temperature.

To minimize the main window

Click the minimize button at the top-right of the main window.

To move the main window

Click and drag the main window in any gray area shown in the diagram.

To exit the program

Click the menu button, and select Exit from the program's menu.

Station Banner

Clicking the station banner will usually open the station's main web site using your computer's default web browser. This can be changed by the station, so sometimes it may take you to the station's weather web site, or some other web site of interest.

Minimize Button

The button at the top-right of the program window will minimize the program window to the Windows taskbar.

Alert Handle

If there is an active weather alert, the alert handle will automatically open to show the warning map. To close the warning map, click the alert handle. As long as the weather alert is active, clicking the alert handle with show the weather alert if it is hidden, or close it if it is visible.

Weather Conditions

Several weather conditions are always available: temperature, dewpoint, humidity, barometric pressure, wind direction, wind speed, and wind chill. To view different current weather conditions, click the arrow buttons to the right of where the weather conditions are shown.

Multilink Button

The multilink button, similar to the station banner, will usually open the station's main web site. It can also be changed by the station, so sometimes it may open the station's weather web site, or another web site.

Menu

The menu button shows the main menu, which offers more options for using the program.

Radar

The radar button shows the streaming radar in another window.

News

The news button shows the news window.

Advertisements

Clicking an advertisement will open the advertiser's web site in your computer's default web browser.
